Detailed 14 Days Kenya Roadtrip Self Drive Safari
Day 1: Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
Your safari starts upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). A representative from our Car Rental 4×4 Africa will be at the airport to greet you and hand over the car, so that you can drive to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation: Boma Nairobi
Day 2: Explore Nairobi City
Start with a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum, situated at the base of the Ngong Hills, to explore her literary contributions and the period she resided in Kenya. Subsequently, visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to observe a juvenile elephant engaging in mud play and feeding.

Subsequently, visit the Giraffe Centre for an opportunity to feed the giraffes intimately or receive a giraffe kiss. The center functions as a sanctuary for the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe. The tour will conclude with a visit to a craft center where women create exquisite crafts and ceramic art. Evening meal and overnight accommodation as previously stated.
Day 3: Drive to Samburu National Reserve
Following breakfast, you will Drive to Samburu National Reserve, arriving at either the Samburu Sopa Lodge or Ashnil Samburu Camp in time for lunch. You will embark on an evening game drive, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Aberdare National Park
Following breakfast, proceed to Aberdare National Park, an aesthetically pleasing drive through verdant hills and tea estates. Arrive punctually for lunch at a lodge such as The Ark Lodge or Treetop Lodge, where you may spend the afternoon observing wildlife congregate around the waterhole. Appreciate the refreshing mountain air and wooded scenery while you unwind and absorb the distinctive environment. You will dine and stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park
Following an early breakfast, head for Lake Nakuru National Park with a packed lunch for a comprehensive day tour of the park. Flocks of greater and lesser flamingos inhabit this lake, imparting a pink hue, hence earning it the moniker “the pink lake.” It is also inhabited by the endangered black and white rhinoceros, large felines, and several other fauna, excluding elephants. Day 6: Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve
Leave Naivasha this morning and proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, you will register at the lodge, partake in lunch, and enjoy a brief break. Subsequently, you will go on your inaugural exhilarating evening game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, a premier safari location in East Africa.

Day 7 & 8: Game drives in Masai Mara
Allocate mornings and nights for wildlife observation in Kenya’s premier national reserve of Masai Mara. The game drives lead us to seek Africa’s Big Five and other species residing in this expansive Kenyan game reserve.
On a designated day, you have the chance to visit a Masai village for an immersive experience, gaining insight into their coexistence with nature and participating in their dance.
Day 9: Drive to Lake Naivasha
Depart Nairobi this morning and transfer to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. Register, unwind, and partake in lunch. Post-lunch, proceed to Hell’s Gate for a guided nature walk within the park. A boat ride on Lake Naivasha is available for an additional fee. Revert to the lodge in the evening.

Day 10: Journey to Amboseli National Park
Travel to Nairobi, where you will be transported by vehicle to Amboseli. After a brief respite, commence a late afternoon excursion of the park.

Day 11: Safari expedition in Amboseli National Park
Dedicate the day to traversing the park in search of diverse wildlife sightings. This park is renowned for its substantial elephant populations and stunning vistas of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro situated across the border in Tanzania.
Seasonally, one may visit Lake Amboseli, which may include water conducive to observing remarkable bird species.
Day 12: Transition to Tsavo National Park
Following breakfast, proceed to Tsavo National Park, acclaimed for its substantial elephant population, the infamous man-eating lions of the 1900s, and notable features like as the Aruba Dam. You will have the opportunity to observe the red elephants and various species of flora and fauna.

Day 13: Game drive at Tsavo National Park
You will set out early today to commence a game drive in this semi-arid region, allowing you to observe species in their natural habitat.
