4 Days Gombe Chimpanzee Trekking Safari

Day 1: Pick up from Kigoma Airport

You shall be picked up from Kigoma Airport, from where you shall head to the lodge. Check in and relax enjoying a swim and strolling on the beach.

Accommodation: Kigoma Hilltop Hotel

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking Experience

Today, you get to enjoy your day with the chimpanzees. You shall start your trip at sunrise by boarding a dhow boat from the hotel’s private beach, for a transfer to Gombe National Park. Meet your guide as you cruise along the shores of Lake Tanganyika to the main entrance of Gombe Stream National Park. After interacting with the chimpanzees, you shall have your lunch in the park. Later in the evening, you shall transfer back by boat to your lodge of stay. Overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Kayaking Experience

Today, get to enjoy a kayaking experience in Lake Tanganyika. Later return to the hotel for an overnight stay as above.

Day 4: Departure

Today, you shall get to fly back to Dar es Salaam, bringing your 4 Days Chimpanzee safari to an end.
