Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: Entebbe International Airport To Murchison Falls National Park
Your day starts out with a drive from Entebbe International Airport to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. The scenic Route with many interesting and scenic sites can be visited as well, with stops en-route to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary.
The Murchison Falls National Park is among the best tourist destinations during a 3 days Uganda Self drive safari murchison. Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
Get an early start on a morning guided game drive. Your guide will tell you interesting wildlife facts and do his best to get you close to the famous Big 4 animals. After breakfast you can begin your second day of your safari holiday in Murchison Falls national Park by driving along the Delta of Lake Albert. You will also see several mammals including warthogs, antelope, lions, hyenas, giraffes and primates among others.
Return to the Lodge for lunch, and after head back for an afternoon boat cruise. You will have chances of sighting beyond 200 bird species including the Kingfishers, the shoe-billed stork, as well as other aquatic species such as Nile crocodiles, hippos, monitor lizards, elephants and many of the animals drinking along the river Nile shores.
The boat navigates to the foot of the Murchison falls where you will hike to the top of the falls. The water from the falls forms colored mist which has colors of the rainbow. After these activities, our guide will pick you up and take you back to your lodge.
You can also have the chance to experience Murchison Falls National Park at night on your game drive before returning to the lodge for a traditional Ugandan dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)
Day 3: Depart Murchison Falls National Park for Kampala or Entebbe International Airport
An early morning wake-up call begins the day as you head out on the morning game drive with your guide and tracker. Return to the lodge for a hot breakfast and then check out at for the 5 hour drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport. (Breakfast Included)
