Detailed 24 Days Self Drive Kenya Roadtrip Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to masai Mara National Reserve
Arrive at the airport and embark from Nairobi for a journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve, which requires a drive of approximately 5 to 6 hours, dependent upon your arrival time. Day 7:Drive to Amboseli National Park
Depart in the morning and proceed south to Namanga, the Kenya/Tanzania border, to arrive in time for lunch. Post-lunch, proceed to Amboseli National Park, where there is a potential to observe wildlife en route to the campground.
Amboseli National Park is among the most renowned wildlife reserves in Kenya. The Park is located on the Kenya-Tanzania border, at the base of Mt. Amboseli National Park is commonly known as “The Home of Elephants,” as it hosts some of the largest elephant herds. Day 8: Full day game driving

Day 21: Tour of Nairobi
Nairobi National Park is located at 7 kilometers from the city core of Nairobi. The small park (113 sq. km) encompasses all principal animal species, save the elephant. The view of wildlife grazing elegantly against the city skyline is a delightful experience. Near the main entrance to the game park is the Nairobi Animal Orphanage, which was opened in 1963 to take in sick and hurt animals and give them a home. The animals are cared for until they are healthy enough to go back into the wild.
From the verandah of the elegant Range’s Restaurant close to the orphanage, one may observe the animals in their natural habitat. The verandah provides a view of the sparkling waterhole. Day 22: Cuisine
