Day 1: Drive to Sadaani National park for afternoon game drive
Embark on a 3-day Safari Saadani at Sadaani National Park, with a stop in Bagamoyo. Enjoy a game drive, spot diverse wildlife such as lions, zebras, and elephants. All meals included.
Day 2: Game drive and Beach Relaxation
Embark on a thrilling wildlife drive in Saadani National Park, Tanzania’s only park that offers game drives along the coastline of the Indian Ocean. Witness a diverse range of animals, including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and an array of bird species. After lunch, opt for a Saadani Boat Ride safari to encounter hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species that inhabit the riverbanks. Explore the stunning grandeur of Saadani National Park, including its rich riverine forests, savannas, and idyllic beaches.
Day 3: Game drive and Beach Relaxation
Drive to Pangani after breakfast to explore the Pangani River basin. Tanzania’s Pangani River Basin is a major geographical and ecological area. The Pangani River is one of the country’s major rivers, and its basin is home to a broad range of habitats, communities, and activities. It flows from the eastern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru via a series of valleys before emptying into the Indian Ocean in northeastern Tanzania. You will spend the entire day relaxing here, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 of wildlife and natural beauty: Drive to Usambara Mountain to explore it and Visit the Caves
After you finish your breakfast, you will embark on a day-long trek to the Udzungwa Mountains. Upon arrival, rangers will welcome you and accompany you on your hiking journey. The Udzungwa Mountains National Park is renowned for its hiking trails, trekking routes, mountain climbing, and woodland walks. Additionally,
it is one of the 34 biodiversity hotspots around the world. Within the Udzungwa Mountains, you will find 11 different primate species, including the Sanje Mangabey (Cercocebus sanjei) and the Iringa Red Colobus (Procobus gordonorum). The hike to Sanje Waterfalls is the most popular one. During this hike, you will witness the four tiers of waterfalls, observe monkeys, swim in plunge pools, and enjoy the stunning scenery.
You will also have the opportunity to see habituated Sanje Mangabeys, a variety of indigenous plant species, birds, reptiles and amphibians, and butterflies. After your hike, you will be driven back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. All meals are included in your meal plan.
Day 5: Transfer to Mkomazi National Park for game Drive
During your visit, you will embark on a game drive through Mkomazi National Park. The park boasts a picturesque dry landscape, complete with ancient baobab trees, rocky hills, savannah woodlands featuring umbrella acacias, and flat grassy valleys.
Although sparsely populated, Mkomazi’s wildlife is diverse and includes giraffes, antelopes, little kudu, impala, and Grant gazelles. These animals share their habitat with elephants, buffalos, and a variety of predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. During your game drive, you may also spot other creatures like dik diks, zebras, oryx, wildebeests, eland, and topi.
Mkomazi National Park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, home to around 450 bird species. The park’s various ecosystems attract a diverse range of avian species, including raptors, water birds, and many others.
Don’t miss the chance to visit the protected Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary, a gated portion of the park. Here, you can see almost 30% of Tanzania’s entire black rhinoceros population. After a day of adventure, return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay. All meals are included in your meal plan.
Day 6 of wildlife and natural beauty : Drive to Materuni village at Mount Kilimanjaro to explore it and transfer to Arusha
Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the charming Materuni town in the Moshi district, nestled on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Take a 40-50 minute hike to the base of the stunning Materuni waterfalls, where you can catch a glimpse of Kilimanjaro’s summit.
This waterfall stands tall at 90 meters and is truly a sight to behold. Along the way, pass through local fruit trees, such as avocados, mangos, lemons, and bananas, and learn about the area’s history, traditions, village economy, agricultural practices, and cultural aspects from knowledgeable local guides. Once you reach the waterfall, take a refreshing swim in the natural pool.
After soaking in the beautiful scenery, descend slowly to the Materuni village and embark on a guided tour to discover their unique way of life and culture. You will have the chance to visit one of the homesteads, where you can learn how to prepare a typical Chagga meal and even enjoy lunch there.
After enjoying your lunch, you’ll have the opportunity to visit one of the coffee farms. There, you can learn about the process of cultivating, harvesting, and processing coffee. You’ll even get to roast and prepare your own fresh cup of locally sourced coffee. Once the tour is complete, you’ll be driven back to Arusha and dropped off at your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay, marking the end of this wildlife and natural beauty safari adventure.
